12.30.15 Reflecting on 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣5️⃣

Looking back at 2015, the hardest lesson I’ve learned was to trust no one but God. I shed too many tears on people who didn’t care for my best interest, on people who I thought where my friends and betrayed me by spreading lies, on people who enjoyed twisting the truth and even on people who bullied me into thinking I was inferior to them. To avoid more heartache, I kept I myself and after many prayers, I learned to not need anyone but God. He is the only one who could answer my prayers. He is the only one who can change the mind of a person.

I have also learned that your inner family is everything. They are the grease to your engine. You need them as much as they need you. Our family runs on a schedule that works for us. We may not be perfect all the time, but we make the effort to better ourselves and to be the best parents we can be.

I have learned to listen more and talk less. I have learned to think before I speak. I have messed up friendships with the way I spoke and acted that now I think before I speak (sometimes I slip, but it’s a work in process).

Patience is a HUGE one!! Sometimes NO means not right now. It took me a while to understand this. A LONG WHILE….

What have you learned in 2015? Leave a comment below.

Before I end this post I have to thank all my loyal readers. The ones who went out of their way to send me mail, text messages and even gifts!!! You guys keep me going–thank you!

10.12.15 Be Happy 🐝

success is key
Perfect way to start your Monday morning read! People always say you can’t buy love, or happiness–absolute truth! I love doing what I do. I help people everyday, even if its in the smallest of ways! For example; I am living with Victor’s (hubby) grandmother, and at first I thought it wasn’t going to work. An 85yr old woman is set in her ways, and out of courtesy I let her vent to me all day everyday. I’ve come to really see her true beauty. She is a good person. She is happy, and content with nothing. She appreciates the small things in life, and surely doesn’t take them for granted. Every Friday–I take her trash/recyclables out and she thanks me for hours. She insists in cooking for us; which I won’t complain! Her cooking is good! All in all, I wanted to express how happy this woman is everyday. We should all be thankful, and take a slice of what she’s eating because she is really lovely!
HAIL to the old people that are super happy in the world~

5.4.15 Follow your heart ❤️

Follow your heart

I completely agree with this saying. There are many times, even in recent days that I can think of when I didn’t ask.  If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.

It takes a lot of courage to ask, and even though you know the answer is NO, or maybe not right now, you feel a type of relief by just asking.  A great example is me asking my boss for a raise. Even though I knew the answer would be “no, there is no money”, I felt that burden of finding a way to ask lift away. The answer was not what I was looking to hear, but I got the guts and courage to ask.

As the ending of this saying states: If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place. Just sit there and really think about it. “If you don’t step forward….you’re always in the same place”. It can be applied to everything in life: work, marriage, weight, society, love, relationships, family….everything we strive for is founded by this single sentence. Have you had the courage to step forward?

If so, let me hear about it 🙂

I couldn’t have said this any better. Yes, I have to admit, sometime I wonder how others feel about my posts, but then I think….WHO CARES. It’s my way of venting, and if you don’t like it, then unfollow me. It’s just that easy.

With that said, please follow me and click the like if you like it 🙂

Blessings!
