8X8 glass dish, buttered
3-5 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup oats
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 stick of butter, softened
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put apples on bottom of greased dish. Mix remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over apples, completely covering them. Bake for 30-35 mins. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
It’s really easy to make, and even easier to eat the whole thing in one sitting!
