9.3.16 Be kind to one another…

img_6030-1

In a world filled with hate and anger, we must seek God more than ever for guidance. You must learn to forgive. Even if it hurts. God forgives, you just have to ask to be forgiven.

It took me a while to figure this out. Looking back, I used to hold a grudge on things that were not worth. Why stain your heart with anger and hate when you could learn to forgive and move on? People say it’s easier said than done…and yes I admit, it takes time. What I don’t understand is why people leave it for a later date. Did God wait to forgive you when you asked to be forgiven? NO. So why delay it any more than you have to?

Psalms 24 talks about having a pure heart will get into heaven. It’s a good read. The real question here is “Do you have a clean heart?” “Have you asked for forgiveness?” Maybe today’s the day you do. I promise you, that once you’ve confessed your sins to God, you will feel the elephant in the room has disappeared and that weight on your shoulders will also be gone! It’s truly an amazing feeling! Try it, and let me know how it goes.

01.25.2016 Military Wife

Airman

I love my Airman, although he drives me bonkers at times, I still love every aspect of him.

With that said, you think you would get used to the feeling you have in the pit of your stomach at the possibility of him deploying….but you don’t. Today Vic said that they are planning a deployment in early 2017; a minimum of 3 months. Why couldn’t they be week deployments so I could think they were mini vacations? What if we have another child and is born in the beginning of 2017? So many what if’s….

The thought about him in a hostile situation keeps me uneasy, but have to stay calm for my kid. She loves daddy so much!! I was hoping that someone out there in the military world, would be able to share his or her story on how they prepared for their loved ones departure.

1.11.16 Profound Statement

IMG_5071

This is exactly what every human should learn at an early age. WOW! Super profound! I found myself reading it over and over to get all I could out of it. This is one of my fav inspirational posts this year!

This year lets face our deficiencies head on. Smack it right back by acknowledging it and doing something about it. Keep doing the right thing! Pay it forward!

10.20.15 Believe it!

everything-happens-for-a-reason

I can’t help but post about things that are out of our hands. For instance, I went to my local Dollar General store last week. The line to check out was 5+ long. I wait because I needed the cards in my hand, and the little pack of stickers Em kept bugging me to pay for. The person in front of me kept making small conversations with Em. While the line was crawling slowly, the woman in front of me kept thanking me for Em’s mannerisms, and for cheering up her day. She then said she was in line getting pasta because her father wanted it for his last meal. His last mean, I ask? She said he got sick over night and was told he was not going to make it. He was diagnosed with X, Y, and Z and the outcome wasn’t positive. When it was time for her to pay, her box of pasta was a dollar. She took out a $20 bill and I said to her, please let me pay for your pasta. I immediately took out a dollar and gave it tot he cashier. She was in tears, and thanked me again.

Today, I was in line at the store, getting some supplies to cook dinner and I had forgotten my wallet. After being in line for 10 mins, I realized it when it was already too late. I asked to go to the car to get it, and just as I was preparing myself to run to the car, the person behind me offered to pay for my groceries. It was only a $6 bill, but all I could think about was when I paid for the pasta, and that this was what God wanted. I paid it forward, and now someone was doing it to me. The anonymous person said he would do it over again and that $6 will not break his bank. I thanked him, and thanked God for always having my back. My grandma always has stated “Mamita, things always happen for a reason” and that we just have to believe everything will work out the way it was intended to. With that said, I leave you with this: Pay it forward, you never know when it’ll be your turn to get a helping hand.

5.4.15 Follow your heart ❤️

Follow your heart

I completely agree with this saying. There are many times, even in recent days that I can think of when I didn’t ask.  If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.

It takes a lot of courage to ask, and even though you know the answer is NO, or maybe not right now, you feel a type of relief by just asking.  A great example is me asking my boss for a raise. Even though I knew the answer would be “no, there is no money”, I felt that burden of finding a way to ask lift away. The answer was not what I was looking to hear, but I got the guts and courage to ask.

As the ending of this saying states: If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place. Just sit there and really think about it. “If you don’t step forward….you’re always in the same place”. It can be applied to everything in life: work, marriage, weight, society, love, relationships, family….everything we strive for is founded by this single sentence. Have you had the courage to step forward?

If so, let me hear about it 🙂

1.27.15 Surround yourself…

surround yourselfGood morning readers,

This picture reminds me of my childhood. My sisters and cousin, just sitting around on the sandy beaches of NJ. This picture reminded me that family means everything! With that said, surround yourself with people who love you, just like the picture depicts. Surround your self with friends who motivate and encourage you to be the best.

Hope you have a wonderful way.

1.22.15 AFC Championship Game 🏈🏆

englandGood morning readers–

Hope you guys are doing well. I wanted to let you know that Em is finally back to normal. No more issues with her eyes 😄 (Thank you God)👼

With that said, I wanted to share with you pictures of my hubby at the AFC Championship Game that took place in Boston, Jan. 18, 2015. He is a huge New England fan and is even more excited they are going to the SuperBowl. He said it rained, snowed and was windy, but he wouldn’t complain to see them play live.

Enjoy 😁😁
